#2. Anemone and Lagurus Ovatus
Hello! It's Hailey!
I talked about the meaning of mini Gerbera and Eucalyptus in the last post I hope it was interesting to you guys.
The first flower I am going to introduce today is Anemone.🌼
Anemone comes from the Greek word "Anemos (wind)".
In ancient Greece, Anemone was a symbol of death and sadness, and there is a Greek myth that anemone bloomed from the blood that fell to the ground when Adonis, a boy, was killed by a wild boar.
The attractive anemone petals shrink when it is cold. In particular, the purple anemone shows an intense appearance.
The next flower that I am going to introduce is Lagurus Ovatus.🌿
Lagurus Ovatus looks very similar to a Setaria viridis (Green Foxtail), but it is not.
You can think of it as a relative of Green foxtail. Lagurus's texture is very soft like a rabbit and dog tail.
Lagurus Obatus' flower language is "Thank you for your kindness."
Lagurus is good as a gift when you are grateful to someone. It is also used a lot in hand-tied, and since it is a dry flower, it can be seen for a long time and is suitable for interior design.
I would also like to tell you a little about how to store flowers in addition to the meaning of flowers.🌷
✔ To see the flowers for a long time, it is important that flowers need to be exposed to the sun, but more importantly, they need to be well ventilated. If the flowers are stored in a poorly ventilated place, they will quickly wither.
✔ Also, if you put flowers in a vase, changing the water every day is one of the ways to see flowers for a long time.
✔ In order for flowers to drink water well, you need to cut the stems diagonally (usually).

.
In this post, we learned about the meaning of Anemone and Lagurus Ovatus and how to see the flowers for a long time. I think the world of flower language is really mysterious.
Then, see you in the next post!😁
